From May 23 to 25, the final round of the 20th National College Student Transportation Science and Technology Competition, organized by the China Communications and Transportation Association and the China Transportation Education Research Association, was held at Jimei University in Xiamen. Students from our university performed well in the finals, securing a total of 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes.
Among the four award-winning entries from our university, two projects received second prizes: “Construction Technology and Application Platform for Autonomous Driving Test Scenario Libraries in Real, Highly Interactive Environments” and “An Integrated Computer Vision and Large Model Reasoning System for Traffic Accident Identification and Liability Determination – The ‘Zekuaipan’ APP.” Two other projects received third prizes: “Anxing Yuejia – Research on a Driver Negative Emotion Regulation System Integrating Multi-modal Perception” and “A City Near-ground Wind Field Digital System for Operational Safety Prediction and Assessment of Low-altitude Transport Equipment.”

It is reported that the National College Student Transportation Science and Technology Competition represents the highest level of college student competitions in the field of transportation in China. It is the largest college student science and technology competition project in China’s transportation sector in terms of participating universities, number of participating students, and social influence. This year’s competition, themed “Empowering Green and Intelligent Transportation with New Quality Productive Forces,” encouraged students to apply new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things to support the national strategy of building a strong transportation country and the innovation-driven development strategy. The competition attracted participation from 144 universities and received a total of 1,232 entries.
CSU students will continue to delve deeply into innovation in the field of intelligent transportation, leveraging new quality productive forces to promote breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies such as the low-altitude economy and intelligent connected systems. They aim to reach new heights in the next competition, injecting CSU wisdom and youthful energy into the construction of a strong transportation country.
