Research Center for Dual Carbon Technologies in Rail Transit, Central South University
The Research Team for "Dual Carbon" Technologies in Rail Transit is committed to advancing the innovation and application of green rail transit technologies, with a core focus on energy integration and low-carbon development within rail transit systems.
Its main research areas cover fault diagnosis and life prediction technology, train traction and control technology, intelligent operation and maintenance, as well as rail transit materials and structures. The team aims to provide critical technical support for the sustainable development of the rail transit industry, and facilitate the achievement of China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
The team currently consists of 9 members, including 4 professors, 4 associate professors, and 1 lecturer. It has led more than 20 projects, including sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), along with over 50 provincial and ministerial-level programs and enterprise-commissioned research projects. The team has published more than 300 academic papers and 5 monographs, obtained over 50 granted patents, and received 6 national and provincial/ministerial-level scientific research awards. In addition, it has incubated two innovative high-tech enterprises and completed more than 10 technology transfer projects.
With well-equipped experimental facilities, we sincerely welcome scholars, engineering and technical professionals, and young students from home and abroad to join our research on "Dual Carbon" technologies in rail transit. Together, we will drive the development of green transportation, and contribute our wisdom and strength to China's high-level sci-tech self-reliance and self-improvement as well as national rejuvenation.
