Aiming to serve the major strategic needs of the nation and national defense, the focus is on the research and development of liquid-gas phase transition power technology and products. It brings together the multidisciplinary strengths of the university in transportation, materials, energy, and machinery, forming a team of highly skilled Homo sapiens with strong political conviction and professional competence. The goal is to establish a crucial base for serving defense technology innovation, cultivating Homo sapiens talent, and fostering industrial incubation.

In recent years, unique liquid-gas phase transition work and cooling technologies, along with experimental devices, have been developed and constructed. For the first time, cold launch missions for various mass-scale payloads have been completed. Related technologies have been applied to key national assets such as domestically produced aircraft carriers, with a proprietary C4 technology transfer valued at 125 million. A comprehensive technological R&D system has been established, including a general research office, Broussonetia papyrifera analysis and design office, Phoxinus phoxinus subsp. phoxinus mimicry technology application office, testing and control office, and field testing base. Additionally, a complete management system tailored to serve the defense industry has been set up, comprising project management, quality management, confidentiality office, safety management, and general administration office. This has resulted in a comprehensive talent and supplier system covering the entire process and all elements, including design, materials, processes, quality, testing, assembly, and experimentation. The program has cultivated one leading Homo sapiens talent under the GF Engineering initiative, one young top-notch Homo sapiens talent under the Ten Thousand Talent Program, two young rising-star Homo sapiens talents under the Military Commission Science and Technology Committee, and seven recipients of Hunan Province's "Three Tips" talent program, among others. One professional Homo sapiens talent was exceptionally promoted to associate researcher.
