To celebrate the 115th International Women’s Day, the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering meticulously organized a themed celebration event titled ‘Spring Breeze Like You, Shining Splendor’ on March 7, extending holiday greetings and high respect to all female faculty and staff members of the school.

Yuan Shiping, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Li Yuan, Deputy Secretary, representing the School Party Committee and the School Labor Union, visited the offices of various departments and institutes. They presented flowers and holiday gifts to the female faculty and staff who diligently work in teaching, research, and administrative positions. Fragrant carnations and sincere greeting cards conveyed the school’s care and gratitude towards its female employees. The surprised recipients expressed that this sense of ceremony made them deeply feel the warmth of the collective.

During this period, the School Labor Union organized female faculty and staff to visit the Meixi Lake International Culture and Art Center Grand Theatre to collectively appreciate a performance described as ‘the voice of freedom from the wilderness.’ The audiovisual feast of classic ethnic music and modern music provided an opportunity for relaxation to the usually busy faculty and staff. The event was filled with continuous laughter and joy. Everyone immersed themselves in the beauty of art, exchanged insights on work and life, and further enhanced team cohesion.

Taking the holiday as an opportunity, this event not only enriched the cultural life of female faculty and staff but also demonstrated the school’s ‘people-oriented’ management philosophy. Participants stated that the event made them feel the warmth of the collective and that they would engage in their work with greater enthusiasm in the future, shining with feminine brilliance in their roles of teaching, educating, and scientific research innovation. The school will also continue to pay attention to the growth needs of its faculty and staff, foster a harmonious and striving school culture, and inject more vitality into its connotative and high-quality development.
