From January 11 to January 12, the final of the Second Hunan Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition was held at Central South University of Forestry and Technology. Mo Yuejia, a student from our school, won the second prize in the employment track for undergraduate students in higher education.

Mo Yuejia’s career goal is to become an intelligent operation and maintenance engineer for high-speed trains. At the final competition, Mo Yuejia shared her insights from four aspects: career determination, career exploration, person-job matching, and future prospects. She fully demonstrated her profound understanding and passion for the field of intelligent operation and maintenance of high-speed trains, as well as the efforts and achievements she has made to realize her career goal. Her presentation was well-structured and logically rigorous, earning unanimous praise from the judges and the audience.
Regarding the honor, Mo Yuejia stated: ‘I am very grateful to the university and the school for providing valuable opportunities and careful guidance, allowing me the chance to present my career plan on such a high-level platform. This award is not only an affirmation of my personal efforts but also an inspiration for my future career development. I will continue to study and practice diligently, constantly improving my professional competence and comprehensive abilities, and strive unremittingly to become an excellent intelligent operation and maintenance engineer for high-speed trains.’
The hosting of this competition not only provided students with a platform to showcase themselves and exchange learning experiences but also offered valuable reference and inspiration for our school to further strengthen career planning education. We will continue to deepen the reform of career planning education, innovate the models and methods of career planning education, and strive to cultivate more high-quality talents with innovative spirit and practical abilities, making greater contributions to China’s rail transit industry and socio-economic development.
