Recently, the Ideological and Political Work Department of the Ministry of Education announced the list of national university “Dual-Leader” Teacher Party Branch Secretary “Strong Nation Action” Special Action Teams. Following review and verification by university party committees, recommendation by provincial-level party committee education work departments based on merit, and filing and review by the special action office, the Faculty Party Branch of the High-Speed Train Research Center at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University, has been successfully selected for the national university “Dual-Leader” Teacher Party Branch Secretary “Strong Nation Action” Special Action Team.

The “Dual-Leader” Teacher Party Branch Secretary “Strong Nation Action” three-year special action launched by the Ministry of Education aims to comprehensively strengthen the political leadership and organizational development of university teacher party branches. By establishing a “dual-leader” system, it activates the vitality of grassroots party organizations and the vanguard role of party members, guiding teachers and students to demonstrate new responsibilities and new achievements on the new journey of comprehensively promoting the construction of a strong nation and the great cause of national rejuvenation through Chinese modernization.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering at Central South University has thoroughly implemented the spirit of party meetings, leveraged its advantages, strengthened the role of “dual-leaders,” enhanced party branch development, improved the quality of the teaching faculty, and promoted high-quality development in education. The selection of its High-Speed Train Research Center Faculty Party Branch for the “Strong Nation Action” team will deepen party-building collaboration, optimize services, strengthen scientific and technological capabilities, explore new models for nurturing talent, lead new developments in the school’s party-building work, and contribute to the educational cause in the new era.
