Recently, the internationally renowned journal《Transportation Research Part B: Methodological》in the field of transportation science published the latest research findings by Associate Professor Li Chuanyao from our institute, titled 'The Corridor Problem: More Comprehensive Results on the No-Toll Equilibrium'.

This study focuses on early commuting issues in urban transportation corridors. By examining behavioral patterns across continuous spatiotemporal dimensions, it investigates dynamic characteristics of early commuting behaviors, analyzes fundamental patterns of urban residents 'travel patterns and traffic flow evolution under equilibrium conditions, and validates the model's urban commuting distribution rationality through survey data. The research provides crucial theoretical foundations for congestion mechanism analysis and traffic flow management. As a pioneering study in corridor research, it further reveals dynamic flow evolution patterns within urban transportation corridors, offering new perspectives on understanding traffic congestion and evacuation mechanisms. The findings establish robust theoretical frameworks and practical support for comprehensively addressing corridor-related challenges.

It is reported that《Transportation Research Part B: Methodological》is one of the globally recognized top-tier journals in transportation science, accredited as a four-weekly publication by the Association of British Business Schools (ABS) and classified as a Category A journal by FMS. In recent years, Associate Professor Li Chuanyao has dedicated himself to research on travel behavior in transportation corridors, publishing multiple high-quality papers in this field, three of which were featured in Transportation Research Part B.
