Dan Zhou(1980-), female, doctoral degree, associate professor, supervisor of Ph.D. students

On July,2002, she graduated from the major of Mechanical Design and Manufacturing of Central South University with a Bachelors degree.

On Semptember,2002,she continued her masters study in School of Traffic Engineering of Central South University.

On Semptember,2004, She transferred to get a doctoral degree majoring in Vehicle Operation Engineering in advance.

From June,2008 to January,2009, she visited the school of Mechanical Engineering of Monash University in Australia, mainly worked on high-speed trains Aerodynamic Numerical Simulation under crosswind and study on wind tunnel experiment.

She has been engaged in the research of train aerodynamics, fluid solid coupling dynamics and train-tunnel fire hazard for many years. She has presided over one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation, one subtask of The 13th Five-year major subject, one program of the Ministry of railway, one Hunan Provincial Natural Science Fund, one Ph.D. Program Foundation of Ministry of Education, more than 10

transverse projects. She has the ability to pioneer and host major topics independently in research work, and has a strong spirit of innovation and creative ability. She can grasp the research hotspot and direction of this subject, and combine scientific research with popularization and application, which realize the interaction of scientific research, teaching and popularization.

She won the 2016 annual award of Mao Yisheng science and Technology, four Science and technology progress awards of Hunan province and the Ministry of Railways, including the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Hunan province three times and First Prize of scientific and technological progress of Railway Society once. Besides, she owns one science and technology appraisal achievement. In the last five years, She has published more than 30 SCI international important journal articles and EI papers. She was authorized to patent 4 inventions(ranking the 4th, 5th, 5th and 6th respectively), and applied for 5 opening patent of inventions.
