Since 1994, focus on the teaching and research of railway freight transportation, transportation marketing, international freight transportation, logistics, etc.

Major Research Direction:Operation management and organization optimization of the railway transportation enterprise, "Belt & Road" international freight transport, Railway logistics center planning and management, Multimodal transportation, Operation and management of urban rail system.

Hosting or participating in more than 60 projects founded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Railway, the Ministry of education, etc.

Awarded “First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress”, China Railway Association, in 2017. Awarded “Outstanding Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress” China Railway Association in 2016. Awarded “First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress”, Railway Ministry Science and Technology Bureau of P. R. China, in 2008. Awarded “First prize of Scientific and Technological Progress”, Hunan Science and Technology Bureau of P. R. China, in 2006.
