Chen qun
CHEN QUN (1977~), Male, born in Jiujiang, Jiangxi province, China. Professor, Ph.D. and Ph.D. supervisor. He received a Ph.D degree in Transportation Planning and Management from Tongji University in July, 2006, and has worked in School of Traffic and transportation engineering of Central South University after his graduation. In May 2007, he worked in postdoctoral research station of CSU, and finished his research work in oct, 2010. In the period from March 2011 to March 2012, he was subsidized by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Funded Project and studied at University of Leeds for one year. His teaching courses include “Urban Rail Transit”, “Transportation Engineering”, “Traffic Engineering” and “Database Principle and Application”. He has chaired a number of national and provincial research projects, such as NSFC project, PFDR Project, Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Science and Technology Planning Project of Hunan Province, Education Reform Project of Hunan Province and so on. Besides, he has directed or participated in dozens of horizontal projects. According to statistics, he has published SCI or EI papers more than thirty by the first author or the corresponding author in the domestic and international public publication. He currently guides 1 doctoral student and 9 master students. And his main research fields are Urban Traffic Planning, Regional Traffic Planning, Traffic Design, Transport System Optimization, Traffic Model and Simulation and so on.
